Kalasatama
Kalasatama, located on the eastern edge of the city centre, is a former port and industrial area, which began to be constructed as a residential area in 2009. Kalasatama has its own metro station, in addition to which the bus and cycling network is also good in several directions. The Redi shopping centre guarantees comprehensive services, and Kalasatama also has e.g. a health centre, Suvilahti cultural area and Isoisänsilta bridge directly to the Mustikkamaa outdoor area. Right next door are also the lively Sörnäinen and Kallio districts.
