How to apply for an exchange student apartment?

You are eligible to apply if you are attending one of our co-operating schools in Helsinki, Espoo, or Vantaa. You can apply as soon as our application period starts.

Hoas provides exchange students with three different furnished apartment types: a room in a shared apartment, studio, and shared studio apartment. You can apply for all types with the one application.

Submit the application when our application period starts: for autumn 1st of April and for spring 1st of October, 12 at noon. Fill in all the information carefully and check that your contact information is correct.

Register to our online services after you have submitted your application. To accept your housing offer or update your application you need to use our online services.

We make offers for exchange students twice a year, in June-July for Autumn term, and mid November-mid December for Spring term. You will receive your housing offer by email, read the offer carefully and accept it in the applicant online service by the given due date.
